Résumé
Inside of the documents written by fray Bernardino de Sahagún, the Codices Matritenses are one of the most important sources, because they are considered as the most ancient version of the Historia General de las cosas de la Nueva España. By this reason, they were studied by different people who wanted know about Sahagun’s work or about Mesoamerican codices. This paper shows that these manuscripts haven’t been studied in right way yet. In order of this, I begin a source’s criticism study of these books. This is a very hard and long work. Consequently, I only present a preliminary result now. The present text tells about one of the Matritenses Codices, the Manuscrito de la biblioteca de la Real Academia de la Historia, and shows some outcomes of the research and how these change the knowlegde of this document. As a result of a codicological and content study, this work seems like some studies are wrong and how important is our analysis. In order to this, the schemas of material organization are too important. We could see how important and utility are this analysis with them.
